GMC Maritime provides ventilation, heating and cooling systems (HVAC) to the offshore industry. The company is a market-leading producer and installer of ventilation systems for rigs and modules in the Norwegian offshore and construction industries.
Our HVAC discipline is the market’s leading provider of solutions and components for HVAC systems. We offer all related services, and can deliver single or multiple projects. We also have disciplines containing a workforce of engineers and technicians, forming project teams for each different order. The company is capable of executing small and medium-sized engineering, procurement, construction and installation (EPCI) projects, handling all aspects of the project execution.
One of our own inventions is the “Simvent”, a solution for controlling the climate in drilling cabins and associated equipment rooms. Another of our products is “Simduct”, a Stainless Steel, acid proof, ventilation duct system that has been developed, tested and approved by certifying authorities. The product line has recently been expanded to include a pressure-classified duct system called the P-class. It has versatile usage areas, but was originally intended to be used in flooded areas such as shafts and pontoons on Semi-Submersible Drilling Rigs.
We design and deliver HVAC for: Fire-rated containers or smaller modules. Pressurisation containers or smaller units. Ventilated for non-hazardous containers, etc. All systems can be delivered with a local control system.
HVAC ducts produced in our own factory. The GMC HVAC ducts C, F and P, are all branded products with registration number 220986, Simduct.
