Change of use
Most modification projects stem from a change of use. Making a gas producing rig out of an oil producing one, or modifying vessels for new applications, often requires a comprehensive approach.
The GMC Group staffs experts on every subject, from steel and engines, to heavy lifts, diesel, electrical, instrumentation, HVAC and fire protection. GMC maintains facilities to dock all types of vessels and mobile offshore installations, and has the capacity to carry out full EPCI projects, consisting of engineering, procurement/acquisition, completion and installation.
