We are a supplier of mobilization and support services to the largest lifting vessels and have routines for collaboration and project management in complex operations with many players. GMC is the Saipem 7000's home port in Norway, something we are very proud of.

Expert inspection activities
We carry out expert inspections of all types of fixed and loose lifting equipment – including cranes, winches, shackles, slings, swivels, hooks, cleats, lifting yokes, spreader bars and anchor chains. We provide complete documentation and certification of new equipment, in accordance with current regulations. In addition, we offer inspection and recertification of equipment in use, so that safety is always maintained.
Large rental and surplus portfolio
We have an extensive rental portfolio of lifting and maritime equipment, including cranes, winches, shackles, slings, fenders, A-frames and barges. The equipment is available from our large warehouse at Hinna in Stavanger.
Production and sales
We help you with everything within crane and lifting equipment – from tailor-made engineering solutions to production and project support. We supply cranes, winches, A-frames, trolleys and hoists, among other things, tailored to your needs from start to finish.
GMC provides a wide range of shipping services, always in accordance with classification rules.
We follow the certification authorities for efficient approval with a focus on cost-effectiveness. The classification work includes engine, propulsion systems, hull, tanks, surface, propeller and rudder system. We carry out the work at our own shipyard or quay, and our professionals also travel to customers – 24/7-365 worldwide.
