24 hours a day, 365 days a year, GMC Yard offers docking and maintenance for all types of vessels. We combine planned efficiency with flexible execution. With modern facilities, high professional expertise and dedicated teams, we ensure safe and documented docking.

Hull, propulsion, surface and systems. From replacing valves to propeller and rudder.

Grading and inspection

We assist in collaboration with classification societies, and document all work carried out.

Modifications and upgrades

Expansions, conversions and adjustments of equipment and systems during docking.

Docking

We offer two dry docks with capacity for a variety of vessel types. In addition, we have 290 meters of deepwater quay, extensive storage facilities and up-to-date shipyard technology available 24/7 for efficient service and repairs.

The shipyard at Buøy in Stavanger consists of workshop halls, dry docks and quay facilities.

Ventilation and cooling

The Kårstø processing plant is the largest of its kind in Europe. The plant plays a key role in the transport and processing of gas and oil from important areas on the Norwegian continental shelf. GMC ensures the safe and secure operation of the HVAC systems at the plant.

Docking

The ship Aurora Storm from the Aurora Offshore fleet was recently docked at the GMC shipyard for a 10-year classification.

Maritime ship service

Like lightning through the fjords. The catamaran Fjordlyn has transported travelers big and small, now the trip continues south in a new guise. We at GMC were able to be a part of that.
