Expertise control and certification
Our professionals perform expert testing, inspection and certification of all types of loose and fixed lifting equipment. This includes cranes, winches, shackles, lifting yokes, spreader beams and anchor chains. We also offer function testing, load testing and recertification of equipment. All documentation is delivered in line with current regulations, NORSOK standards and the EU Machinery Directive.
GMC Lifting Solutions is approved by the Norwegian Lifting Technology Association as an Enterprise of competence S2 with areas of competence: G4, G7, G8, G10, G20 and RX. We are also approved by the Norwegian Maritime Authority as a qualified person B-1.

We follow the certification authorities for efficient approval with a focus on cost-effectiveness. The classification work includes engine, propulsion systems, hull, tanks, surface, propeller and rudder system. We carry out the work at our own shipyard or quay, and our professionals also travel to customers – 24/7-365 worldwide.
