Lifeboat test kits are used to perform an evenly distributed test load in lifeboats or other structures that are to be load tested. Depending on the desired load test, a suitable number of water bags are placed evenly distributed in the lifeboat and connected to a distribution manifold. Each water bag is filled to maximum capacity. This ensures an accurate total weight, as the manufacturer guarantees a filled weight of 375 kg per bag with a tolerance of ±1%. The specially developed 375 kg water bags are included in a complete test kit for lifeboats. A remote-controlled system with manifold and filling hoses makes it possible to carry out the load test in a safe manner without personnel needing to be in the lifeboat during the critical overload situation. The test kit can also be used for load testing of gangways, footbridges and smaller bridges.
