Three questions for Øyvind

🌐 What will your role be at GMC in the coming year?

I have the pleasure and privilege of leading IT and digitalization at GMC. Right now I am in an analysis phase to see where we stand and gain insight from all the companies in GMC. Then we will jointly establish a clear roadmap for success. The roadmap ensures that we are continuously focused on delivering improvements both small and large. IT and digitalization should be a tool that at all times supports "Consider it done".

🌐 What opportunities do you see in using new digital tools in the organization here at GMC?

GMC is a company with a long tradition where a number of good processes have been established. Digitalization is about introducing digital technology that helps to streamline processes and make everyday life better. On the one hand, it is about introducing new systems, but mostly it is about continuously removing "stones in the shoe". For example, removing manual, time-consuming and expensive tasks for both ourselves and our customers.

Here at GMC, we fortunately have great opportunities to introduce even more good tools that will make everyday life better for everyone, and not least contribute to our continued provision of good customer experiences. If we have good tools ourselves, it has a positive effect on our customers.

🌐 How was it meeting the people at GMC?

Fantastic! I have been warmly welcomed and genuinely felt welcome. So far, I feel that there are people here who are whole.
Now Øyvind looks forward to continuing the digital journey and creating new opportunities, also for GMC's customers.
